What it does
- A restaurant finder with filters by occasion, town, price per head, cuisine, setting and view, and suitability, such as family-friendly or wheelchair accessible.
- Curated collections, such as sea-view dining, pool clubs and family favourites.
- Browse by town, from Valletta and Sliema to Marsaxlokk and Gozo.
- A separate section for cafés, coffee shops, food trucks and bars.
- A map view, and a table-booking widget demo on a restaurant profile.
- Verified reviews written by named reviewers, never anonymous ones.
- Installs on a phone's home screen, with no app store.
What we built, and why
Diner.mt has an identity of its own rather than the directories' one, because choosing a restaurant is a different mood from choosing a showroom. The filters were designed for a phone first: on a Friday evening most people choosing a table are not at a desk. The site is in preview while its reviews and listings are verified.
