What it does
- A kitchen planner: draw or type the room, and it lays out runs of units, appliances and an island, checks the work triangle and works out the metres of units, all to scale.
- A mood board of kitchen illustrations after named brands' published ranges, leading to the showrooms that stock each look.
- Showroom directories for Malta and Sicily, with the brands each showroom publishes, and a plain note where it publishes none.
- The same three ways in as bathroom.mt: upload a plan, photograph a sketch, or draw the room on screen and attach a layout that fits.
- An assistant that answers from the site's own records, indicative calculators and a sourced Journal.
What we built, and why
kitchens.mt runs on the same machinery as bathroom.mt, deliberately: one way of holding stockist records, one quote flow, one design language adapted per site. That meant the effort could go where kitchens differ from bathrooms, which is the layout. A kitchen is a set of runs and clearances, and the planner draws them deterministically from the room the customer gives it rather than guessing.
